BritishAmerican Business maintains an information service to provide its members with
access to a variety of business information databases and to be used as a
tool for business development.
BritishAmerican Business also responds to non-member enquiries on a fee basis.
Databases
Bureau van Dijk – “AMADEUS”
AMADEUS is a comprehensive, pan-European database containing
financial information on Top 300,000 public and private companies in 38
European countries. Up to 100 search criteria (including all financial
items) can be combined so we can identify both individual, and groups of,
companies quickly and easily.
The standard report includes the following:
Company name, address, phone number, fax number, URL and email address,
legal form, year of incorporation, Main exchange, trade description and
primary and secondary industry codes, financial profile (up to 10 years of
information is available per company), number of employees, board members
& officers, auditors, company ownership (shareholders, parents and
subsidiaries for both public and private companies). Both direct and
indirect ownership is detailed.
Bureau van Dijk – “ICARUS”
ICARUS is a database of top 350,000 US and Canadian companies.
Up to 30 search criteria can be combined in order for us to identify both
individual, and groups of, companies quickly and easily. The data on a
company’s activities and executives is detailed, with various hierarchical
search options making ICARUS ideal for marketing campaigns as well as
research projects.
The standard report includes the following:
Company name, address, phone number, company type indicator
(private/public), ticker symbol, stock exchange, year founded, state of
incorporation, sales figures (estimated in bands), number of employees,
(estimated in bands), US SIC code, NAICS Code, line of business, parents,
subsidiaries, executive-senior management, bank, accountant.
j4b Advisor
j4b Advisor is a comprehensive database of grants, soft loans,
tax relief and publicly funded venture capital opportunities
available to businesses in or investing in the UK. Whether you are
involved in large scale R&D or are an SME taking your first steps
there are over 1300 sources of funding available to you.
BritishAmerican Business, in association with global grant
leaders j4b can now run detailed funding reports from a database
which is updated every 24 hours by the award winning team at j4b.The
report includes fund value, scope, eligibility criteria, applicable
deadlines, links to websites & appropriate contacts. j4b grant
services are used every week by thousands of organizations to win
funding amounts from £1,500 to more than £1m.
Standard report is based on:
UK postcode where you plan to pursue the project, business sector
and the purpose for the funding. For a more accurate report include
# of staff, approx. annual turnover and your business constitution
(e.g. limited company).
BritishAmerican Business Membership Database
A database of approximately 5,000 contacts that can be searched
by SIC codes, nationality or location. We supply name, title and
address in electronic format (EXCEL). Alternatively, current members
can access the membership
database online.
BritishAmerican Business Research Services
BritishAmerican Business has access to many other databases and
offers a research service at favorable rates to its members and
competitive rates to non-members.

American Chambers of Commerce (AmCham) networks across the US and Europe
