The issue of extradition has been back in the headlines since Gary Mackinnon, the alleged Pentagon hacker won permission from the High Court in January to apply for a judicial review against his extradition to the US. This and the earlier cases of the so-called NatWest Three and Ian Norris the former Chief Executive of Morgan Crucible provoked in 2008, has highlighted the new reach US prosecutors have under the US/UK Extradition Act 2003.

This timely and exclusive BritishAmerican Business briefing will discuss the continued implications of these high profile cases as well as the wider effects of the extradition treaty on the transatlantic business community.
