European-American Chamber of Commerce in the United States Inc. presents a European-American Economic Forum

Event date: Wednesday March 7th 2012

The European-American Chamber of Commerce in the United States, Inc.
is pleased to announce a European-American Economic Forum on "Currencies, Credit Ratings and the Crisis Facing the Power of the Markets."

In the past year, the uncertain financial situations of members of the European Union (EU) have continued to make world news. National debt concerns have developed into questions of investment security, the strength of the Euro, and even possible radical changes to the Eurozone. Despite these concerns, the Economic and Monetary Union of the EU remains a leading economic power, and it is in everyone's best interest to find solutions to its pressing problems.

The European-American Economic Forum will address the questions surrounding this developing situation. What are the core issues? What solutions are on the table? What will be the effect on other economies, especially the US? What effects would different outcomes have on the Euro?

Confirmed speakers:

* John Chambers, Managing Director, Sovereign Ratings, Standard and Poor's (bio)
