The Employment Forum aims to promote a broader understanding of
issues in the employment field—covering human resource management,
training, recruitment, relocation, leadership and management issues
and employment law issues. This Forum aims to bring operators in
this field together with a view to sharing knowledge, networking
and, if appropriate, relaying business opinion to government
agencies. This Forum has organised various breakfast and evening
seminars including “Outsourcing: Smoothing the Path to Contract” and
“Age Discrimination: Retirement and Redundancy Under the New
Regulations.” The Employment Forum also regularly publishes articles
in the BritishAmerican Business Network magazine.
The Employment Forum planning committee meets on a quarterly
basis.
