The EU Trade and Investment Forum ensures an effective link for
BritishAmerican Business with the political and policy structures of
the European Union in order to promote free and profitable commerce
between the UK and the US. The Forum seeks to influence EU policy
that may enhance or discourage such commerce. This Forum regularly
contributes articles to the BritishAmerican Business website and to
the publication Network, and seeks to identify opportunities to
organise issue-based networking events. The EU Trade and Investment
Forum has developed policy on issues including the Unfair Commercial
Practices (UCP) Directive and the REACH Directive, and is monitoring
developments in the Single European Payments Area (SEPA).
The EU Trade and Investment Forum planning committee meets on a
monthly basis.
