The Law Forum offers BritishAmerican Business members an opportunity
to meet informally and on a regular basis to discuss current matters
of concern and interest to the legal community, both in the UK and
the US. The Forum also provides networking opportunities for senior
lawyers in law firms, companies and financial institutions. This is
achieved by hosting events that consider topical legal and business
management issues for law firms and in-house legal teams. For
instance, the Forum staged an event in May 2006 on “The US/UK
Extradition Treaty: A Threat to Transatlantic Business?”
The Law Forum planning committee meets on a monthly basis.
