Keeping up with the Joneses - Welsh art in the USA
An exhibition of the work of the Welsh artist Cerith Wyn Evans can be seen
at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston through January 30. Although his work
has been in many international exhibitions as “Documenta XI” (2002) and
the “50th Venice Biennale” (2003), this is Wyn Evans’ first solo US museum
survey.
Victorian Visions, a National Museum of Wales
collection touring the USA, will open at the Columbia Museum of Art
February 10. The collection includes work by Sir Edward Burne-Jones, Sir
William Morris, William Burges, Dante Gabriel Rosetti, and Sir Edward
Poynter. Abstract artist Nigel Bowen Morris has recently opened
an exhibition of his work at the Agora Gallery, Chelsea, New York. Viewing
until April 4.
An exhibition of the work of Martyn Jones can be seen at the
Wales International Center, Chrysler Building, New York. Viewing by
