Sir Martin Sorrell, Chief Executive, WPP Group, Chairman, BritishAmerican Business's International Advisory Board

"BritishAmerican Business has clearly established itself as the pre-eminent transatlantic business organization, and does a great job of helping companies build their business on both sides of the Atlantic. That's why, as a member of its Advisory Board, I am committed to supporting it. And since there are 70 other Chairmen and CEOs of leading multinational companies on that same board, it would seem I am not alone."

The Honorable Louis B. Susman, US Ambassador to the Court of St. James's & Sir Nigel Sheinwald KCMG, UK Ambassador to the United States

"BritishAmerican Business is an outstanding organization. It plays a key role in furthering US and UK business interests by promoting an open trading environment in partnership with both our governments. We wholeheartedly support BritishAmerican Business and its work."

London Forums Planning Diary

We have developed our London Forums to provide a cornerstone for our events and policy work, and enable our members to participate in helping shape the overall work program and strategy of BritishAmerican Business. We currently have 12 sector-based and cross-industry forums, which also provide our sector-focused members with the opportunity to exchange views within the forums on sector specific issues of current and common interest.

The 12 forums each have Forum Heads (selected from our membership) who hold regular planning committee meetings to discuss and consider topical and relevant issues of interest within the relevant sector. Participation in the forum planning committee meetings is open to all members of BritishAmerican Business. The forums then determine whether to either propose an event and specialist speakers, open to the wider membership, to explore a particular and important issue further; or, less frequently, bring it forward as a policy issue of concern to our members for possible submission to governments. In this way the forums are responsible for helping develop approximately half of the overall events in the BritishAmerican London events calendar each year, and for originating a significant proportion of the policy initiatives we undertake.
