New Chelsea Hotel Offers Premium Meeting Space And Accommodation For Business Travellers
Global leisure chain and Portugal’s largest international tourism and leisure group Pestana Hotels and Resorts, will launch its first hotel in the UK in 2010. The four-star Pestana Chelsea Bridge Hotel and Spa opens 1st March, and will provide visitors with world class business efficiency, combined with the hotel’s enviable setting alongside the Battersea Park and the River Thames.
The 216 room hotel provides 1,500 square metres of banqueting and meeting space over two levels.
Four modern, well appointed meeting rooms are located on the first floor offering plenty of natural light. These can be used individually with an adjoining pre-function area, or extended into a larger meeting space. Accommodating between 18-160 delegates, the rooms are available in a cinema, boardroom, banquet or cocktail style format.
On the lower ground floor level, two inter-leading banquet rooms offer facilities for up to 600 cocktail style or 400 seated at round tables. Alongside the hotel, is a secure, public parking garage for up to 800 vehicles, making access convenient and easy.
The hotel offers guests and event organisers a distinctive opportunity to invigorate and re-energise corporate meetings, with easy access to London’s picturesque Battersea Park. Team building, picnics, outdoor exercise and scenic walks through the park’s beautiful gardens are some of the activities which can provide a natural and healthy stimulant to events and conferences.
