Northrop Grumman Selects Fairfax County for New Corporate Headquarters

Fairfax County, Virginia, USA, July 13, 2010—Gerald L. Gordon, Ph.D., president and CEO of the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority (FCEDA, www.FairfaxCountyEDA.org), issued the following statement in response to the Northrop Grumman announcement that the Fortune 100 company has chosen 2980 Fairview Park Drive in Fairfax County as the new location of its corporate headquarters. Northrop Grumman joins the ranks of CSC, Hilton Worldwide, Science Applications International Corporation and Volkswagen of America, all of which have relocated corporate headquarters to Fairfax County.
“We are extremely proud to become the home to such a world-class and important company as Northrop Grumman,” said Gerald L. Gordon, Ph.D., president and CEO of the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority. And, said Gordon, the relocation is “a reaffirmation that Fairfax County is also world-class. Added to other recent corporate headquarters relocations, Northrop Grumman’s marks this as the best place in America to live and work.”
