BritishAmerican Business Honors William C. Weldon and Sir Michael Rake with its Transatlantic Business Awards for 2011

Jeff Smisek and Evan G. Greenberg receive Leadership & Entrepreneurial Awards


New York, NY: October 13, 2011 - BritishAmerican Business, the leading transatlantic business organization, continues its tradition of honoring exceptional leaders for their commitment and contribution to the growth of transatlantic business, by presenting its US and UK Transatlantic Business Awards for 2011 to William C. Weldon, Chairman and CEO of Johnson & Johnson, and Sir Michael Rake, Chairman of BT Group plc. The Awards Dinner - the premier gala event in the transatlantic business calendar - will bring together more than 500 senior executives from both sides of the Atlantic.

The Transatlantic Business Awards will be presented by Lord Green of Hurstpierpoint, Minister for Trade and Investment.

BritishAmerican Business will also present two special awards, to Jeff Smisek, President and CEO, United Continental Holdings, Inc., for his leadership in driving the United merger with Continental, and to Evan G. Greenberg, Chairman and CEO, ACE Limited, for his entrepreneurial achievement.
