At this roundtable we will hear about the challenges RevLifter faces when expanding into the US market.

RevLifter is the leader in AI deals personalisation. Its innovative platform helps over 100 brands across a number of industries to capture more customers and sales through personalised offers. Headquartered in London, RevLifter has launched in seven global markets and they plan to boost their presence in the US forecasting that the US will account for 70% of its businesses by 2022. RevLifter will discuss the strategies and practicalities around this expansion, what challenges they face and how COVID has affected their expansion plans.

Simon Bird, CEO and Co Founder, RevLifter

Simon has spent 15 years in Affiliate Marketing, working affiliate network side at AWIN, and publisher side building and leading Savoo across 13 markets. Simon has also spent several years being an active member of the IAB performance marketing council, including leading the industry Online to Offline green paper.

Simon is also an angel investor and has invested in and has advised several high profile start-ups including WeGift, Tailify and MoveBubble.

Simon is now the CEO and co-founder of RevLifter, which is a performance marketing platform which personalises deals for retailers across any marketing channel. The platform uses AI to understand real-time signals from users onsite behaviour to deliver the right deal to the right customer at the right time, to achieve the advertiser’s goals. US advertisers using the platform include Walmart, AT&T, HP and New Balance to name a few.

Nicholas founded The Barton Partnership in late 2007 and has succeeded in building a niche executive recruitment firm with an enviable reputation within the Strategy, Transformation and M&A arena. From a standing start, he has built a team of professionals renowned not only for their talent acquisition skills but also their subject matter expertise with offices in London, Europe, New York and Asia.

Throughout his career he has specialised in, and successfully executed, on over 250 senior retained and contingent assignments across Commerce, Financial Services and Professional Services both in the UK and Internationally.

In his spare time (when such a thing exists) Nicholas likes to spend time with his family, renovating his house (which will be a never ending project), is an avid film watcher and keeps fit by playing tennis and going to the gym.
