Bob Garrett, Chair of BritishAmerican Business will host an exclusive roundtable discussion on relevant business trends impacting companies doing business in the US/UK corridor.

Bob Garrett is managing partner for KPMG LLP’s New York metropolitan area, responsible for developing and implementing the firm’s strategic direction in its largest market. He oversees delivering high-quality client service, and driving KPMG’s culture of high performance, ethics and integrity, innovation, and diversity. He serves as account executive for many of KPMG’s largest clients.

Bob served as a moderator for KPMG’s Audit Committee institute New York Roundtable Series, facilitator at Corporate Board Member’s Annual Boardroom Summit.

A 2009 David Rockefeller Fellow, he is active in British American Business (vice chairman), Lincoln Center Corporate Fund board, the Cardinal’s College Foundation, the Accountant’s Coalition (New York chair), and the Association for a Better New York.

Bob earned an M.B.A. degree from Columbia University and a B.S. degree from State University of New York at Oswego.

Duncan Edwards is the chief executive of BritishAmerican Business, the leading transatlantic trade organization of some 450 companies, which has an ongoing mission to support policies which protect and enhance the environment for trade and investment in, and between, the USA and the UK.  He is a regular contributor to policy debates and is a frequent media commentator on US UK relations.

Prior to this, Duncan Edwards spent over 30 years as a media executive in London and New York of which 27 years were spent at the Hearst Corporation.  His most recent role at Hearst was president and ceo of the international magazine and digital media company, a business with activities in more than 60 countries which he led to record levels through acquisition and organic growth.

A British citizen, he currently lives in New York and Connecticut where he can often be found on long runs in the hills.
