The British American Business Foundation

“Words cannot describe, how amazing, and breathtaking, this trip was. The trip gave me so much insight, and for the rest of my life, I will be forever grateful for being chosen for this opportunity.”

The British American Business Foundation is the charitable arm of BritishAmerican Business and its signature program is its Scholarship Awards.

The Foundation has supported a number of deserving educational and other charitable causes since the establishment of BritishAmerican Business in 2001. In 2010, it launched the BritishAmerican Business Scholarship Awards, dedicated to providing economically disadvantaged high-school students, who have an exceptional track record of academic achievement and community leadership, with potentially life-changing, cross-cultural educational opportunities. For the fifth straight year, the Foundation has sent outstanding students from high schools in and around New York City, who would not otherwise have the opportunity to travel abroad, to the ACS Cobham International School in Surrey to participate in an all-expenses paid educational /cultural experience.

Every year, BritishAmerican Business holds two fundraisers in New York that support the Foundation: its Transatlantic Business Awards Dinner and Annual Christmas Luncheon. Members also have the option to contribute a charitable donation to their annual membership dues to support the Foundation.

‘We are very proud to be able to fulfill both our educational and our transatlantic mission by providing these exceptional young people with these potentially life-changing opportunities, and are very grateful to our members for making this possible” commented Stephen Maltby, Partner at Gibney, Anthony & Flaherty, LLP and Chairman of the Foundation.

The Foundation’s corporate supporters include: AIG, DDC USA, Deloitte., Delta Air Lines, Inc., Gibney, Anthony & Flaherty, LLP, Invest Northern Ireland, Marsh, United Airlines, and Virgin Atlantic Airways, to name a few.
