BritishAmerican Business will once again partner with the British American Parliamentary Group for a Reception in the Terrace Pavillion at the Houses of Parliament, where we will be joined by Robert Wood Johnson, Ambassador to the Court of St. James’s.
This event will bring together members of BritishAmerican Business’ executive network, alongside the invited guests of the BAPG including members of the House of Commons and House of Lords. Also in attendance will be invited guests of the US Embassy as well as the Foreign & Commonwealth Office.
Note on BritishAmerican Business policy in regards to COVID-19 virus.
We and our partners are aware of the growing concern surrounding COVID-19, and we are monitoring the situation closely.
At this time, we will proceed with our programme of events and meetings as planned unless official government and health officials advise otherwise. We will also review each event as they arise and take into account the policies from host venues and event sponsors.
We are following recommended health guidelines. We advise all of our guests to follow the professional advice from UK health experts and self-isolate if they are experiencing cold, cough, fever and flu-like symptoms; if they have been in touch with someone with confirmed coronavirus or if they have recently travelled to an area with high risk of coronavirus. It is important to reduce the risk of further spread of the infection. Therefore, we ask that if you have visited the following countries in the last 2 weeks, please do not attend: Mainland China, Iran, Italy, South Korea, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Japan, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam. For more information, visit www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/.
For guests attending our events, we will supply sanitizers and access to washing facilities, and we encourage thorough hand washing and other hygienic practices. We recommend refraining from physical contact during greetings.
