Hunter has substantial experience advising international businesses and individuals having connections with multiple international jurisdictions. He is a member of FF&F’s Business Team and Alliott Global Alliance’s Global Mobility Group. In this capacity, he provides cross-border tax planning for closely held businesses and high net worth individuals.
Additionally, Hunter is FF&F’s primary expert on issues related to the taxation of pass-through entities. His professional focus includes tax planning for businesses in sectors such as software development, retail, licensing of intellectual property, information services and marketing. Hunter’s depth of experience also allows him to advise clients on income tax matters related to trusts, estates and grantors.
Hunter received his BS in Accounting from the University of Connecticut, his Juris Doctorate from Temple University School of Law and his LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center. Prior to joining FF&F, he spent 7 years as an attorney at Withers Bergman LLP, a tax-oriented law firm, and 8 years in the Tax practice with Deloitte.
