“Building Forward: Investing in a Resilient Post-Covid-19 Recovery with New Economic Measures for the 21st century”

BritishAmerican Business is delighted to welcome back Lord Davies of Abersoch and Professor Diane Coyle for an exclusive roundtable. The focus of this discussion will be on “Building forward: investing in a resilient post-Covid-19 recovery with new economic measures for the 21stcentury”. Our guest speakers will share their perspective and insight on a new measurement framework that can provide a practical recipe for policy making for a sustainable 21stcentury. A set of inclusive wealth statistics can present an opportunity to explicitly define the recovery from the pandemic in terms of sustainable development, the UN Paris Agreement (2016), and the Beyond GDP movement.

BAB’s CEO Roundtable series regularly features some of the world’s leading chairs and chief executives who we invite to lead a discussion for a group of around 25 senior business leaders on key issues of importance to British and American business.  The event operates under Chatham House Rule and provides a valuable opportunity for dialogue amongst global business and government leaders.

This event is made possible with support from LetterOne and this series is made possible by the sponsorship and support from BAB member, Willis Towers Watson.
