BritishAmerican Business’ Transatlantic Business Awards Dinner is the premier gala event of the transatlantic business calendar and regularly attracts an audience of more than 500 senior business and government executives from both sides of the Atlantic.
Each year, BritishAmerican Business uses the occasion to present prestigious Transatlantic Business Awards to the leaders of two major multinational companies for their leadership in transatlantic business, and Special Awards to other distinguished business leaders for their achievements in particular fields.
On the occasion of our 24th Awards Dinner, four extraordinary business leaders will be honored:
US Transatlantic Business Award
- Michael Corbat, Chief Executive Officer, Citi
UK Transatlantic Business Award
- Alex Gourlay, Co-Chief Operating Officer, Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc.
Visionary Transformation Award
- Sharon Rowlands, President, USA Today Network & CEO, ReachLocal
Global Impact Leadership Award
- Peter Zaffino, CEO of General Insurance, AIG
In addition to celebrating our honorees and the partnership between the United Kingdom and the United States, the Transatlantic Business Awards Dinner provides vital funding for BritishAmerican Business’s important work to promote a positive transatlantic business environment and help its over 500 member companies build their international business.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to The British American Business Foundation, Inc., which makes contributions and renders financial assistance to other organizations formed and operated exclusively for literary or educational purposes.
