LONDON, July 27, 2017 – As United celebrates 80 years of service in Denver, the airline has announced that it will introduce a daily nonstop service between London Heathrow and its Denver hub, during the period March 25 to October 27, 2018 (both dates westbound), subject to government approval.
Flight UA26 will depart London Heathrow daily at 11:40 a.m., arriving at Denver at 2:30 p.m. the same day. The return flight, UA27, will depart Denver daily at 5:35 p.m., arriving in London Heathrow at 9:40 a.m. the following day (all times local).
The flights will be operated by Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft with a total of 219 seats – 36 flat-bed seats in United Polaris business class and 183 in Economy, including 70 Economy Plus seats with added legroom and increased personal space.

The Denver flight has been conveniently timed to connect with an extensive network of services to destinations across the U.S., with more than 130 served nonstop.
Onboard Products and Services
United Polaris business class, United’s brand new business cabin, features a reimagined, sleep-enhancing experience for intercontinental travellers. The first phase of United Polaris is now available onboard and features an elevated inflight food and beverage experience, tranquil custom bedding from Saks Fifth Avenue and exclusive amenity kits with products from Soho House & Co’s Cowshed Spa.
United Economy Plus offers added legroom and increased personal space. Located near the front of the Economy cabin, the seats give the added benefit of allowing a swifter exit from the plane on arrival. Economy Plus seating is available on all trans-Atlantic flights.
United Economy offers complimentary food, soft drinks, juices, beer and wine, tea, coffee and inflight entertainment. On most aircraft, seats feature an adjustable headrest and a personal on-demand entertainment system.
UK Services
From London/Heathrow, United currently operates up to 17 flights per day to six of its U.S. hubs: Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Newark/New York, San Francisco and Washington, D.C./Dulles. The airline also offers nonstop services from Edinburgh, Manchester and Birmingham* to Newark/New York and on a seasonal basis from Edinburgh to Chicago as well as Glasgow to Newark/New York. *(Birmingham service operates until October 5, 2017)
