James Frankis currently serves as Senior Vice President of Product at Convene Hospitality Group (CHG), operator of a global portfolio of lifestyle brands focused on creating the places and experiences that bring people together.  In this role, he is responsible for the design, product standards, and packaging across the company’s brands, including Convene and etc.venues.  Under his leadership, the CHG Product Team curates the company’s elevated workday experience delivery and operational standards, designs thoughtful spaces that inspire creativity and collaboration, and defines product metrics and pricing.

Prior to joining CHG, James was a senior strategist and European practice area leader for consulting at Gensler. He has worked with a range of clients including British Land, HSBC, Mitsubishi Estates, Blackstone, Hines, AXA, and Rockefeller Group. He holds a bachelor’s degree in information design from the University of Westminster and a master’s degree in transdisciplinary design, a programme focused on human-centred design practices, from Parsons School of Art and Design in NY. 

Based in the UK, James is a competitive road cyclist and enjoys trying new restaurants.
