Alina Gheorghe is Head of Software M&A Advisory Europe at Macquarie Capital. Based in London, Alina leads origination and execution of M&A and capital raising transactions in the European software sector. She brings over 18 years of experience in financial services, including 13 years in technology investment banking, with prior roles at Arma Partners (fintech group) and William Blair (technology group).

Her focus spans B2B software in regulated industries, GRC, and broader business software, with financial software being a key coverage area. This includes sub-verticals such as capital markets, asset and wealth management, banking, lending, and insurance.

Originally from Romania and a U.S. national, Alina holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and undergraduate degrees from DePaul University (Chicago) and the Academy of Economic Studies (Bucharest).
