Zaida McLoughlin has been part of Virgin Atlantic Airways’ North America team since 2008 and currently holds the position of Commercial Director, East Region.   

In this role, Ms. McLoughlin is responsible for developing and executing the overall business strategy in the UK-based carrier’s largest US markets, as well as driving the success of the company’s joint venture with Delta Air Lines.  

Prior to joining Virgin Atlantic, Ms. McLoughlin held positions in several airlines including KLM and Aero Mexico.  Her roles have included operations and financial positions in addition to sales.   

Ms. McLoughlin earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ and is an active member of the GBTA and British American Business Association.  She’s an avid supporter of the performing arts and serves on the Advisory Board for Connecticut Ballet School. She resides with her family in Southport, Connecticut.
