Welcoming the signing, British American Business CEO Duncan Edwards said:

“Last week we were delighted to welcome International Trade Minister Nigel Huddleston to our annual BAB conference where we were able to debate the benefits of the Government’s state-level MoU scheme as well as hear from the Mayor of Greater Manchester, the Right Hon Andy Burnham who spoke about the power of city to state diplomacy.

“Today’s signing with Utah is another welcome achievement in the Government’s MoU scheme and we look forward to supporting Government and business to take advantage of the opportunities that will flow from the MoU. We particularly welcome further transatlantic cooperation in fintech, life sciences and aerospace.”
