Amit has 20 years’ experience in banking and financial services across a variety of disciplines, including corporate finance, tax & legal, COO and general management. Based in London, he is responsible for setting and implementing the Bank’s Environmental and Social (E&S) policies and standards (the Bank’s Position Statements) which apply to all clients and transactions, ensuring E&S risks which may arise from the Bank’s financings – be it direct lending, project finance, bond issuances, trade finance, etc – are all undertaken in line with the Bank’s position for sensitive sectors. Amit is a qualified Chartered Tax Advisor, Attorney at Law (New York) and the current Chair of the Equator Principles.
