London/New York – Today, BritishAmerican Business (BAB) launches its Trade & Investment Guide to the UK 2019/20.

Part of the BAB ‘Finding Your Way’ trade and investment guide series, the Trade & Investment Guide to the UK 2019/20 is produced as a ‘first port of call’ for any US company, big and small, with transatlantic ambitions to export to, or to invest in, the UK.

Endorsed by both the UK Department for International Trade (DIT) and the U.S. Commercial Service, this guide offers expert advice on what to consider when expanding across the pond, as well as information on leading sectors and regions of growth throughout the country.

Commenting on the launch, Duncan Edwards, CEO, BritishAmerican Business said:

“7,500 US firms already have a presence in the UK and more than 40,000 US companies sell their goods and services to the UK, but this is a fraction of the enormous number of US companies that could.

“This trade guide reflects our ambition and mission to offer tangible support to companies that want to trade and invest across the Atlantic; contributing to what is one of the most successful economic relationships on Earth.

“In fact, this report is a great example of the existing support network, bringing together business organisations, private service providers and public entities, ready to assist and guide companies that want to turn their transatlantic ambition into reality.

“We are grateful to all our partners, including DIT, The U.S. Commercial Service, Blick Rothenberg, the City of London Corporation, Irwin Mitchell, TASIS – The American School in England, FedEx Express, Magrath Sheldrick, HSBC UK, Sheffield City Region, London & Partners, Buckinghamshire Thames Valley Local Enterprise Partnership, Oxford Local Enterprise Partnership (OxLEP), Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority, South East Midlands Local Enterprise Partnership (SEMLEP), The Midlands Engine, The Welsh Government, and the Scottish Government that contributed to this publication; and we celebrate all companies who have led the way, like Nectar Sleep, HydraForce and Dexcom.

“We look forward to all the others who, with our support, can find their way to the UK. We are here to help you unlock your growth potential, and to provide you with everything you need to know to bring your US business and innovative products to the UK.”
