BritishAmerican Business welcomes the publication of the recommendations of the UK-US Transatlantic Taskforce for Markets of the Future, which reflect a number of proposals submitted by BAB during the consultation process.
BritishAmerican Business Chief Trade & Policy Officer Emanuel Adam said:
“These recommendations are a positive step towards greater regulatory cooperation in the financial services sector, reducing unnecessary barriers to cross-border investment and strengthening the competitiveness of the UK-US economic corridor.
“We are particularly pleased to see recognition of the UK’s established regulatory regime reflected in the Taskforce’s recommendations, which was one of BAB’s proposals. We look forward to continuing to work with policymakers and regulators on both sides of the Atlantic as these recommendations are taken forward.”
