BritishAmerican Business has submitted a letter to the U.S. Senate Finance Committee regarding the One, Big, Beautiful Bill as well as concerns about the potential implementation of Section 891 of the 1934 Revenue Act.

The letter raises concerns that new provisions (Section 899 and BEAT changes) may discourage UK investment in the US. It also highlights legal and practical uncertainties with Section 891’s application.
