BritishAmerican Business statement on the UK’s decision to start formal accession discussions to the CPTPP

In response to the UK’s decision to start formal accession discussions to the CPTPP, BritishAmerican Business CEO, Duncan Edwards said:

“On behalf of our members, BritishAmerican Business (BAB) welcomes the announcement made today by Secretary of State for International Trade, Liz,Truss, that the UK is beginning negotiations to join the Comprehensive and Progressive Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP). Joining the CPTPP will improve access to important markets for British companies and will help to advance the free trade agenda to which BAB is committed.”
