Julie Morton
Chris Lecatsas-Lyus, Director, Global Career & Leadership Development, The University of Chicago School of Business

Chris leads the provision of coaching for executive MBA programme for the GCLD team, managing the coaching experience, outcomes and processes and works with students and alumni as an executive coach. In addition, she designs and facilitates workshops on executive leadership and development skills in collaboration with Chicago Booth colleagues internationally. She joined Chicago Booth in 2014 and has delivered over 2,000 coaching sessions during this time. Prior to this, Chris worked as an executive coach and career management specialist since 2004.

Chris started her career as a teacher and moved into organisational learning and development where she worked in leadership positions for GSK, Her Majesty’s Treasury and the Royal College of Physicians before specialising in coaching. As a coach she ran her own consultancy for 10 years working with clients in executive search, banking, consulting, law, pharmaceutical, government and education.

Chris’ approach to coaching is underpinned by the belief that people have tremendous capacity for growth. Coaching is a vehicle to help them achieve their goals.
