Dave founded Brandpie in 2008.
Brandpie’s purpose is to help clients create the idea that can transform their business through the lens of brand and culture. Brandpie works with leaders to define the purpose, ambition and strategy of their organization.
Brandpie clients include Astorg Private Equity, Astra Zeneca, Baker Tilly, BNY Mellon, Bowmark Capital, Capgemini, EY, Monumental Sports and Entertainment, The Economist and The Royal Bank of Canada.
Before BrandPie Dave built and ran WPP’s global brand consulting group. At WPP he led many large brand identity projects. He worked closely with Lord Browne on the development and strategy for the new BP brand and Sir Christopher Gent on building the Vodafone brand through acquisition, amongst others.
He has a strong passion for CSR and established the BrandPie Foundation in 2010 to help charities build their brands and improve their fund-raising capabilities.
He is married and has four children. He is a keen gardener and grows all his own vegetables. He enjoys skiing (most of the time), wind surfing and is a passionate photographer.
