    Terms & Conditions

    • Membership of BritishAmerican Business (BAB) is by invitation and is open to businesses and not-forprofit organizations active in the USA and UK.

    • Member companies will support the activities of BAB and will designate a ‘Key Contact’ to co-ordinate the relationship with BAB.

    • The Membership Year for a Member will be determined by the date on which they join.

    • Membership Fees are determined by global headcount of the member company and are updated annually.**

    • New Members may only cancel membership during the 11th or 12th month of the First Membership Year, and if they cancel membership during said period by providing written notice to BAB, their membership will terminate at the end of the 12th month of the First Membership Year.

    • If the New Member does not cancel during the 11th or 12th month of the First Membership Year, they will be deemed to have renewed their membership for an additional year.

    • In the 2nd and Subsequent Membership Years, Members may only give notice of cancellation during the 11th or 12th month of the Membership Year. If the member decides to cancel membership during said period, they will be subject to a One Year Notice Period. They will remain a member, and be subject to Membership Fees, for the year following their giving notice, at the end of which their membership will end.

    • For the avoidance of doubt, if the Member does not actively cancel or renew their membership during the 11th or 12th month of any Membership Year they will be deemed to have renewed.

    • BAB may, in its sole discretion, terminate membership upon ten (10) days written notice if a Member (i) fails to timely pay Membership Fees, (ii) fails to support the activities of BAB as required above or (iii) otherwise engages in any activity or conduct contrary to BAB’s ethical and/or moral standards as an organization.

    • Without the BAB board’s written consent, the Member shall not: (i) have any express or implied right or authority to assume or create any obligations on behalf of or in the name of BAB or to bind BAB to any contract, agreement, or undertaking with any third party or (ii) otherwise use the BAB name or trademark(s).

      **Members of the BAB Board of Directors and BAB International Advisory Board will usually be expected to support at the highest tier of membership despite global headcount.
