Iain is Director of Digital Policy for Amazon in the UK and Turkey, leading the company’s policy work on issues including competition, digital regulation, AI and media policy. He also sits on the leadership team for Amazon’s UK business. Prior to Amazon, he was Director of Corporate Affairs and Regulation at a major UK telco, where he also served as Chief of Staff to the Chief Executive. He led UK corporate affairs for a US health-tech company, and worked as a political consultant to clients in London, Brussels and the Middle East. He was appointed by the Government to serve on the UK Council for Child Internet Safety, and served a trustee of an internet safety not-for-profit.
