Imran is a Managing Director and dual-hats as Head of North America and Head of Integrated & Global Solutions (IGS) with 30 years of experience.
In his North America role, Imran is accountable for connecting the entirety of WTW to our clients and connecting our colleagues to the communities where they live and work. Overseeing WTW’s business across both segments in Canada and the United States, he has responsibility for growing revenue, representing WTW in the business community and ensuring the engagement of ~17,000 colleagues.
In his IGS role, he leads a team of talented colleagues globally who help deliver compelling services to address complex issues. These include consolidating a multinational’s retirement plan financial reporting across countries, coordinating and overseeing the management of health and benefit programs around the world, realizing maximum value from mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, and providing solutions to organizations in the areas of total rewards, diversity equity and inclusion, employee wellbeing and financial resilience.
Imran previously chaired the WTW North American Inclusion and Diversity Council where he collaborated with the Council to define and execute priorities to drive a more inclusive and diverse workforce. He also sat on WTW’s Growth Board which sought to increase the company’s organic innovation efforts by supporting early-stage ideas that can expand the innovation pipeline. Before joining WTW, Imran was an international consultant in the United Kingdom and started his career at a pensions consulting firm in London, U.K.
Imran holds a BSc. degree in mathematics with honors from the University of Manchester in the U.K. and has an actuarial background. He also has a diploma in International Employee Benefits from the International Employee Benefits Association (IEBA) and has lectured on governance and globalization at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. Imran is currently a board director for The Executives’ Club of Chicago and director-at-large on the executive committee. Previously, he was the board chair of the Human Resources Management Association of Chicago and played a key role in helping The Executives’ Club of Chicago acquire HRMAC in 2021. Previously, he was on the M&A Faculty of WorldatWork where he taught M&A and taught the International Benefits Course for the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP). He is frequently quoted in the press, regularly speaks at international conferences, and contributes to business and technical publications. In 2004, Imran was honored by Business Insurance magazine as one of “40 Under 40 People to Watch” in the commercial insurance and risk/benefits management services industries.
