Meet the Speaker: Lynne Borthwick, Chief People Officer, Clario

Lynne is a highly accomplished global human resources executive with extensive experience leading progressive talent and organization transformation agendas across industries.  She is uniquely qualified at the intersection of business strategy and HR with deep experience in human performance consulting, business leadership, talent management and development, and HR business partner roles, providing HR leadership globally.

As Chief People Officer at Clario, a clinical trials technology company, Lynne is responsible for global HR, internal communications, and diversity, inclusion and sustainability.  She brings her organization, talent and culture transformation expertise to the business to drive innovation and collaboration and build an inclusive, dynamic culture with the best talent in the industry.

Prior to Clario, Lynne served as Interim CHRO and SVP, Global Talent for Wiley, a global research and education company, where she led global HR, talent and internal communications functions, enabling a culture and talent shift to support the company’s digital transformation.  She also served as the Global Head, Talent Management and Development at Korn Ferry where she focused on career architecture and development, performance management, talent review and succession, and HR M&A.

Earlier in her career Lynne held global HR, talent and technology business leadership roles at Unisys.  She started her career in HR consulting at Accenture partnering with Fortune 50 clients on significant change and workforce transformation approaches in growth, M&A, and downsizing contexts.

Lynne received her Bachelor of Arts in Communications and was class valedictorian at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia.  She completed Women on Boards: Succeeding as a Corporate Director program at Harvard Executive Education in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
