Global Vice President, SHEBA

As Global Vice President of SHEBA® for Mars Petcare, Mindy Barry is responsible for ensuring a seamless brand experience that resonates across diverse markets and cultures. Mindy owns the global brand strategy, communication, and creative direction for the brand, as well as working with the regional brand teams to adapt global strategies to local markets while maintaining brand integrity. As part of building winning brands that consumers love, Mindy is passionate about the role that purpose can play, believing that success is best achieved when an idea is both rooted in purpose and aligned to business objectives.

An experienced brand builder, Mindy started and spent the majority of her career at Procter & Gamble before joining Mars in 2014. Working across both local and global roles for each company, she knows firsthand the importance of developing ideas grounded in consumer insights, and is committed to strategically incorporating them into brands in a way that embeds and creates value in a meaningful way. Most recently, Mindy was leading the NUTRO brand through a comprehensive relaunch, including developing the Greater Ground purpose program, which empowers growers in their transition to healthy soil practices and engages consumers on the importance of this change.

Mindy is known for her inclusive leadership, believing the best-performing organizations are those where all Associates feel heard and valued. She is committed to developing the next generation of talent in Mars through recruitment, development, and engagement, and has seen first-hand the power that purpose can play in supporting this.

Mindy lives in Tennessee, USA with her husband Lance, 14-year-old son, Benji, 10-year-old daughter, Brooke, and their one-year-old rescue Golden Retriever, Lincoln. Mindy enjoys spending her time with family and friends, often cheering on her children at their sporting events, and is an active Board Member for Junior Achievement of Middle Tennessee and a volunteer for Boy Scouts of America.
