Both appointments are effective immediately.

Commenting on the appointments, Duncan Edwards, CEO of BAB, said:

“I am pleased to be able to announce new roles for Emanuel and Alice which show the strength of our management team. Emanuel has relocated to Washington and will lead our policy and trade from there where he will also service the many BAB members who are based in DC.

“Alice has been a terrific deputy to Emanuel and has extensive experience gained at BAB in both London and New York City. I am delighted to appoint her as our new Executive Director in the UK.

“Together with Tamra Eker, Managing Director based in New York, who will take a broader role overseeing membership and events, we have an excellent management group committed to the interests of our members and we are excited about the future.”

Emanuel Adam, Executive Director, Chief Policy and Trade Officer said:

“It has been a great pleasure to lead the UK operation of BAB over the last three years and to witness its growth and success. I am excited to be taking on this new mission for BAB, which reflects how BAB has grown and embraced ‘policy’ and ‘trade’ as key portfolios that the organisation offers to its network. Having a strong voice on policy and trade matters is crucial for our members and I am looking forward to dedicating my time to this work as we build our capability further in this area of activity.”

Alice Mount, Executive Director, London, said:

“I am thrilled to be taking on the role of Executive Director for BAB in the UK and I am committed to providing a first-class service to our members. Our mission will be to provide the best networking, convening and policy product in the market and we have the team to do it!”
