Stela Lupushor, Chief-Reframer, Reframe.Work Inc.

I am on a mission to humanize the workplace. I go at it in several major ways:

• At the macro/cross-industries: I work with the Conference Board’s Fortune 500 corporations-members and help them rethink their workplace and workforce strategies through research and facilitated conversations so they can prepare for what’s ahead. I lead the Strategic Workforce Planning, Talent Management Executives and Strategic HR Business Partners Councils.

• With the organizational leadership: I lead Reframe.Work Inc. and consult on how to create inclusive workplaces through the use of technology, human-centered design, people analytics, and future-thinking.

• At the individual level: I’ve founded amazing.community – a nonprofit extending the work horizon for women 50+. Our sweet spot is age + gender + technology and our solutions are focused on helping women prepare for the workplace of the future, and for organizations to create inclusive work environments for them.

• At the professional development level: I am an adjunct at NYU School of Professional Studies teaching Digital Workplace Design. It is my way of influencing the future generations of HR professionals to use technology and human-centric and inclusive design principles to create a great workplace experience.

• At the network level: I am the co-founder of the Strategic HR Analytics Meet-up that over the past five years is bringing together over 1,700 members in the NYC area to shape their thinking around people analytics and its impact on workplace experience. Most recently, I have led the people analytics functions at Fidelity Investments and TIAA where I’ve developed analytics capabilities and enabled data-driven workforce decision making. Previously, I led the HR Strategy and Social Analytics function at IBM where I’ve built the “future of work” strategy for IBM. I brought to these initiatives my international consulting experience from Price Waterhouse, PwC Consulting and IBM Global Business Services.

I’ve been recognized as one of the Top 100 HR Influencers, top 40 global Influencers in HR Tech, and am the judge for 2018 and 2019 MIT’s Inclusive Innovation Challenges. I frequently participate in twitter chats by Mercer on various work of the future related topics, serving as a stakeholder in setting the ESG goals for major brands, and am involved in the WEF’s development of the charter on AI for HR, and organizing and speaking at events focused on the ethical and responsible use of AI in the workplace.

I hold a diploma in Mathematics and Computer Science, speak English, Romanian and Russian, have a patent pending for a social sentiment analysis tool, and I am a sought-after speaker on the topics of People Analytics and the Future of Work.

I love to travel, cook and scuba-dive.
