STIR: The Values-Driven Workplace: Where Purpose Meets Performance

Thursday, March 19th

As expectations on employers come into sharper focus by a workforce that is increasingly values-driven and who prioritize social impact, the alignment between corporate values and employee experience has emerged as a critical determinant of engagement, retention, and performance.

Please join BAB for an interactive roundtable discussing the alignment of corporate values with employee engagement & retention strategies and improved employee performance metrics. Employees—particularly Gen Z and Millennials—are looking beyond compensation, seeking purpose, authenticity, and social impact from their employers. When values are clearly defined and meaningfully embedded into organizational practices, they can strengthen trust, loyalty, and long-term commitment.

We will hear from corporate leaders, as well as the LexisNexis Rule of Law Foundation leaders, on how values-driven work not only drives employee engagement, but how the work of the Foundation itself supports a fair and equitable environment for employees.

Date: Thursday, March 19th

As workforces become increasingly values-driven, the alignment between corporate values and employee experience has emerged as a critical determinant of engagement, retention, and performance. Employees—particularly Gen Z and Millennials—are looking beyond compensation, seeking purpose, authenticity, and social impact from their employers. When values are clearly defined and meaningfully embedded into organizational practices, they can strengthen trust, loyalty, and long-term commitment.

This topic explores how values-led organizations translate purpose into practice, examining the connection between corporate values, employee engagement strategies, and measurable performance outcomes. Drawing on insights from the LexisNexis Rule of Law Foundation, it highlights how values-driven work can foster a fair and equitable environment while reinforcing employee motivation, satisfaction, and alignment with organizational goals.

Key takeaways will include:

  • How clearly articulated and authentically lived corporate values influence employee engagement, retention, and performance
  • Practical ways to embed values into culture, leadership, and people strategies to build loyalty and commitment
  • The role of values-driven initiatives in creating fair, equitable, and purpose-led workplace environments
