BritishAmerican Business (BAB) Holds Financial Services Summit – ‘Risks and Opportunity at a Time of Change’

New York – On June 11, 2019, BritishAmerican Business hosted a one-day summit, the Transatlantic Finance Forum, bringing together policy makers, regulators and operators in Financial Services from the US and UK, focusing on opportunities and challenges for the industry.  The program highlighted major issues facing the industry, including technological innovation, the regulatory climate, and customer expectations and set the stage for further dialog and debate.

The summit was held in partnership with Title Sponsor, United Airlines, and Presenting Sponsor, EY.  Content partners included TheCityUK, City of London Corporation and SIFMA.

The program included more than 20 leading industry experts featured in a combination of panel sessions, keynote addresses and fireside chats.  Featured speakers included: Gerry Baker, Editor at Large, The Wall Street Journal; Martin Gilbert, Chairman, Aberdeen Standard Investments; Karl Dasher, CEO North America, Schroders; Clare Lebecq, CEO London Market Group; Gavin Michael, Head of Technology, Global Consumer Bank, Citi; Jill Kaplan, President of New York & New Jersey, United Airlines; Nausicaa Delfas, Executive Director, FCA; Thomas Leonardi, EVP, Government Affairs, Public Policy and Communications, AIG; and many more.
