The Growing Trade Relationship between the UK and Middle Tennessee

As we all face the consequences and challenges of high inflation and low consumer confidence, Nashville, TN remains an area of high growth and investment, both domestic and for foreign direct investment. Nashville was ranked as the US city with the most growth in 2021 and 64 Nashville-area companies were named to the 2022 Inc. 5000 list.

The consensus amongst business leaders in Nashville is that there is still great opportunity for growth, despite challenges. The relationship between the UK and Middle Tennessee is as strong as ever with the UK ranked 3rd largest foreign direct investment into Tennessee, with around 115 businesses and over 12,000 jobs created and currently held.

BAB, together with the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, invite you to join us for breakfast to discuss:

• What impact the new UK government and leadership will have on the trade and investment relationship with the US on a subnational level
• Ways to engage and promote a US/UK free trade agreement or smaller MOUs in the US
• The challenges and opportunities for growth into Nashville, especially from the UK and abroad
