Vin D’Agostino is a Senior Engagement Managing Director at Reference Point with a track record of driving value creation through distinct strategic positioning, innovation, and disciplined execution. He is a proven results-oriented leader with experience spanning strategic planning, corporate and business development, finance, product management, operations, and general public company management.

Vin most recently served as Verifone’s EVP and Chief Strategy Officer where his leadership and oversight resulted in the transformation of a hardware company into a software and service platform, increases in high-margin recurring revenue, and ultimately drove a $3.4B take-private acquisition.

Prior to joining Verifone, Vin spent 28 years at JP Morgan Chase, including 10 years leading Payment Strategy during an instrumental time in the industry; his responsibilities also included related corporate development activities and cross line of business project execution. Additionally, Vin headed the firm’s Payment Steering Committee where the CEOs of the firm’s most important businesses gathered to set policy and direction.

Vin has served in various board positions throughout his career including clearXchange (now Zelle), Early Warning Services and Austrapay. He was also the lead JPM investor and an advisor to Square.
