Wilson Del Socorro Announced as Next BAB Policy Steering Committee Co-Chair

Wilson Del Socorro, Global Director of Public Affairs at Diageo has been selected as the latest co-Chair of the BritishAmerican Business Policy Steering Committee, alongside Denise Peet, Head of Government Affairs UK, Caterpillar. Wilson will be joining Denise as co-Chair following the end of tenure for Richard Currie, Director of Public Affairs & Brexit, UPS, who has served as Chair of the Committee since June 2019, after having helped to establish it.

Commenting on his new role, Wilson Del Socorro, Global Director of Public Affairs, Diageo said:

“I am delighted to accept this invitation as co-Chair of the BritishAmerican Business Policy Steering Committee and look forward to partnering with Denise in what promises to be a challenging but exciting 12 months ahead. The BAB Policy Steering Committee is a cross-industry group of leading transatlantic businesses from BAB’s membership which oversees and supports BAB’s policy and advocacy activities, and provides a comprehensive cross-industry forum for discussion of transatlantic policy issues.
